Reportage on water crisis in Central Asia for «One World» magazine

This week, my report on the worsening water crisis in Central Asia was published. For this report, I traveled to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in April and visited several development projects with the aim to improve the water supply for the population. As it is the case with many other issues, the water crisis in Central Asia is man-made and further exacerbated by the climate crisis. I was fascinated by the many encounters with people who, despite all the bureaucratic hurdles, do not give up fighting for a better future, and take matters into their own hands.
